Tru Power started when three teenagrs wanted to write a book based on them except with powers. They started writing it and it started to sound alot like the hit television series, Charmed. The death of a main character so soon made the teens bored and they stopped writing. After a while one of the teens was bored with his life and then started to rewrite it but with a different plot. He had the original idea of five teenages which have the five spiritual elements as powers but then he found it a bit difficult to have five so he changed it to four teens with the powers of the four elements of energy, Air, Earth, Fire and Water.
Characters: Mark (Air): A half Asian and half Australian boy is they youngest of the four with one day seperating the second youngest. He is very focused and has a 7th degree black belt in judo which leads him into his Air powers. His first power developed as levitating in the air which he combined with his martial arts. After time, he was able to control the air temperature and create hurricanes. He can also use the winds to fly.
Kurt (Earth): An African boy which is the oldest of the teens. He is very calm and caring which leads him into his Earth powers. His first power he was able to heal people like mother Earth. After time he could control the growth of vines and plants and was able to create Earthquakes.
Anthony (Fire): An Italian boy who is the second youngest. He is very pumped and has lots of anger which leads to his Fire power. His first power was an ember but as time grew he was able to create large amounts of fire.
Stephen (Water): An Asian boy which is the second oldest of the boys. Stephen and Mark are the closest of friends. Stephen is calm but also very angry which leads to his raging Water powers. Stephen's Water powers have a disadvantage because he can only manipulate water, not create it. His first power was mist or ability to evaporate water but as time grew he could make tsunamis, waves and whirlpools. He is also able to walk on water and swim underwater without the need to breathe.
