Gartmore Waterfall

edit

Due to its proximity to Adam's Peak, Gartmore Waterfall is often called Sri Pada Waterfall or Adam's Peak Fall. However, this waterfall is also known as Gartmore Falls because it is a part of the Gartmore estate.[1] Gartmore Falls is supplied by two rivers that converge over the falls and instantly fall onto the Maskeliya Reservoir. Before merging, each river forms a cascade on the Gartmore Estate[2]. Consequently, the two waterfalls are frequently referred to as Gartmore Estate Waterfalls.
