I am a scholar of film and American culture though I have a wide range of interests. I teach at an American university and it won't be hard for certain people to figure out who I am, given my user name. I have wanted to do some wikipedia editing for awhile. When there was a Writing for Wadewitz - Wikipedia Edit-A-Thon--I attended and thought I could contribute to the wikipedia entry for Carmencita--the first female performer to appear before a modern motion picture camera. We will see what happens from here. Wikipedia editing can be kind of addictive.
