Carl Bird is an Adjunct Professor of Biology at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, N.J where he instructs lecture and lab sections of Human Biology and Health In addition to his work at Fairleigh Dickinson University, Mr. Bird is a high school special education science teacher at Watchung Hills Regional High School in Warren, NJ. At Watchung Hills, he has independently and co-taught 14 courses in biology, chemistry, physics and general science.

Prof. Bird began his studies at Drew University, where he majored in biology with minors in environmental science and a self designed minor in vocology. He later studied at Fairleigh Dickinson and completed a M.S. in Biology with a concentration in neuropharmacology. Concurrently with the Masters of Science, he then completed a Masters of Arts in education with a concentration in Special Education at the College of Saint Elizabeth.

He is the author of the upcoming ibook, Human Structure and Function.
