Carlos Antonio Alvarado (January 4, 1967 - Present)
is a cultural icon from El Salvador, Central America,
often known as "Carlitos" and the artistic name "Carlos Antonio".
Carlitos began his career singing to his nephews and siblings in the crib,
he also used to sing all day while picking cotton,
tired of chapodear for "Chaguantique and El Citio", he formed "Los Tiguelotes"
a 5 member music group imitating "Menudo" and "Rigo Tovar",
now he sings in quinceaneras and wedings.
On March 30, 2012 his wife Isabel Alvarado, whom he had four children with, disappeared from her work at a Taco Bell in the Northwest part of Houston, Texas. Her children and family searched a week desperately for her but Carlos Alvarado was no where to be seen. Alvarado remained absent from his wife's search until Friday April 6, 2012 where he appeared in front of cameras and asked the presumed kidnappers to bring his wife back. "Isabel Alvarado is not a normal person. She is a queen and you have no right to put your dirty hands on her," Alvarado said the day before he was convicted of the murder of his wife. Authorities claimed that Alvarado said to have mutilated then burned his wife's body in the property of his aunt. According to Alvarado's declarations to the authorities, he has said that he told the aunt that he was going to burn an animal that he had ran over with his car. On April 10, 2012, the city of Houston judge denied bond.
