Adrianne Todman has been the CEO of the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO) since 2017.[3] She is the current nominee for Deputy Secretary of Housing and Urban Development.
Early life and education
editAdrianne Todman was born in the St. Thomas island in the U.S. Virgin Islands.[4][5] She attended Sts. Peter and Paul school from K-12 and graduated from Smith College.
Early work in government
editTodman worked as the Legislative Director for former Congressman Ron de Lugo where she worked on housing, education, and transportation[6]. Afterwards, she worked at the Department of Housing and Urban Development as a policy aid in the Office of Public and Indian Housing where she was a manager on a $500 million program aimed to transform public housing from distressed units.[7]
Executive Director of DCHA
editIn 2009, Todman became Executive Director of the District of Columbia Housing Authority (DCHA).
Personal life
editTodman received the Hammer Award from Vice President Gore.[8]
