1939 Emigrated to Quito, Ecuador, worked in pharmaceutical company and later in the British Embassy.
1946 Returned to England and resumed studies and started work at I.C.I. on gases at very high pressures.
1952 B.Sc. in Chemistry and Mathematics at University of London. Fellow of Royal Institute of Chemistry. Research on acrylic resins and other polymers.
1967 Statistical/computer methods in financial, economic and experimental data. Fellow of the Royal Statistical Society.
1975 Export Manager Latin America and West Africa.
1980 Retired from I.C.I.
1986 Qualified Translator by Chartered Institute of Linguists, Founder Member of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting.
2000 Retired from professional activities.
