CALLISTUS Tambatus NYABASE is a Ghanaian nurse anaesthetist born on 6th October, 1984 to Mr Emmanuel Kaba NYABASE and madam Assibi Pwajong NYABASE. He started his basic education at st John bosco practice school in Navrongo a city in the upper east region of Ghana, west Africa.

He lost his Father when he was just 11 years and had to move to stay with an uncle in his native village, Nangalkenia also a suburb of Navrongo in the Upper East Region There in the village he had to fend for his personal needs sometimes including meals as his uncle too Was living below the Ghana minimum wage at the time

With support from his paternal grandmother who was alive at the time ,he managed to complete his Junior Secondary school with good grates in all 8 subjects written ,scoring aggregate 14 in all. That is a distinction to a boy who hardly eats good meal for school.

In the year 2002, he left his village against the wish his uncle and lived with his aunt , a sanitation officer. He lived with her until he successfully finished his Senior high school in 2003. Again, he passed all 8 subjects successfully scoring an overall aggregate of 13. He stated that, he actually finished his senior High school before he was able to pay his admission fees and some of the annual school fees courtesy of the benevolence of his two aunties. He successfully enrolled into a diploma course in nursing in October 2004.
