B Suresh Lal is an Indian development economist who has made a significant contribution to the study of tribes, health economics, environmental economics and child labour of India. He is the author and co-author of several books including Essays on Health Economics(2020) Industrialization and Environment in Tribal World(2016) Economics of Sanitation: Contemporary Rural Women Study(2016) Economic of Child Marriage: Issues and Challenges(2017). He is Professor of Economics at Kakatiya University-Warangal. He has served as Lecturer in Economics at Andhra Pradesh Residential College, Sarvail and Programme Coordinator for National Service Scheme (NSS) at Kakatiya University-Warangal. Dr Lal has specialized in Development Economics, Environmental Economics and Economics of Tribal Studies. He did his MA, MPhil and PhD from Kakatiya University, Warangal, India.
