Bryndel is the online pseudonym of Samantha Sly, a young twentysomething part-time student residing in Colorado. She is currently pursuing a degree in human psychology and is hoping to get back on track to becoming a veterinary behaviorist, meanwhile dabbling in writing (mainly speculative fiction, but some non-fiction) with the possibility of someday going professional with that as well, if she can find someone to pay her. She specializes in overblown biological sciencese and fantasy writing, and participates in National Novel Writing Month every year though she's never yet won at it.
Bryn, as her name is often shortened, is a quirky girl with a wide variety of interests and a mind filled with non sequiturs. Her online handle springs from her roleplaying character Bryndel Wolf, an inhabiant of the Salvaje Mountains at the Wild Wolf Society who is now on hiatus. Far too easily amused by just about anything, Bryndel is known for for her excessive chatter and dangerous levels of obsession with animals. Particularly dogs. Particularly Chinooks. Currently, Bryndel is "owned" by two elderly real-life pets, a Chinook dog named Jack ('PR' Mang O'Dei's Outlaw Jack) or "Jackaroo," and a lynx-point mostly Siamese (applehead type) named Ellen, after Ellen Degeneres for her talkative ways. Ellen is often found "helping" her owner type.
Bryndel is usually lazy, busy, or both, and only an occasional contributer to Wikipedia, most often when her inner grammar witch awakes and demands some magical change-making. Further info and changes planned for this page whenever she gets around to it.
