My wife, Alice Yauger is a professional mixed martial arts fighter out of Burleson, TX. Alice participated in the first All Women's National Golden Gloves in 1999 in Augusta, Georgia. She was featured in Sports Illustrated for the event. In 2001 fighting under coach Henry Mendez (who trained Paulie Ayala), she on ESPN2 Friday Night Fights.

After having two children in 2002 and 2004 she retired. In 2013 she decided to return to combat sports but this time in mixed martial arts. She made her pro debut in 2013 for Xtreme Knockout in Arlington TX. As of October 2016, Alice is 4-4 in MMA with two wins against veterans of Invicta Fighting Championships an all women's promotion linked to Ultimate Fighting Championship. Alice has won three fight of the night awards and is currently training under Steven Wright who trains a lot of professional fighters including ex-UFC champion Johny Hendricks, ex-Bellator champion Pat Curran (fighter), UFC vets Chas Skelly, Cody Pfister, Invicta veteran Jinh Yu Frey, and many others. After being able to participate in the first all women's national Golden Gloves tournament she hopes to be able to fight at least one time for the all women's MMA promotion Invicta FC. She wants to be able to say she helped (even in a small way), open doors for the future of women's combat sports.

Both of our children have competed in Judo, wrestling, boxing, soccer, volleyball, and Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Our daughter won 3rd in the Judo Junior Olympics once and has won several medals in BJJ. Our son plays select soccer and trains in the Olympic Development Program. He has won many Judo medals, wrestling, BJJ, and has a title from a boxing tournament.
