Brand Hall

edit

Brand Hall; A Manor house within the United Kingdom. Owned by Lord Edward Grace. (Currently) Heir to own: Lady Athena Katherine Grace.

Brand Hall is a Grade II* listed property in Shropshire near the village of Norton-in-Hales. It is a paltry country house of c.1700 assimilate a seventeenth-century core, further altered in the mid-eighteenth century and expanded in the premature nineteenth century. It is a privately retained estate of about 200 acres mostly of rolling parkland; land with clumps of trees and shrubs in cultivated condition used as or suitable for use as a park.)

Brand Hall is greatly renowned within the upper class and even the upper working class members of the public, as within the Brand Halls various events are held there for many to take part in, for example; Brand Hall International Horse Trials.

Fox Hunting used to take part upon the grounds, but since the Foxhunting ban in February 2005, groups on the grounds now follow the tradition by laying artificial trails.

History

edit

Brand Hall was originally designed in 1959 as a Country house. The Hall was also sometimes used to train Hunt Masters around the time of 1982.

Not much is known in terms of 'family history' of the hall that can be verified apart from the fact that the hall was passed on from Mr & Ms D to Lord & Lady H. Grace. - Although, it is still well know that the Brand Hall is still home to various family articles & family books that only a select few have had the opportunity to view.
