Brian "Sixx" Guthmann is an American author/writer born in Texas in 1966. His early adult years were spent in the United States Navy and in service to the American Merchant Marine, allowing for the extensive collecting of adventures, knowledge, and the deep cultivation of an already healthy creative imagination he would utilize in his writing years later.
By his own estimation, Brian's very first stories were those he wrote at around the age of ten. Since the home in which he grew up did not have a television set to watch, the young lad found he could entertain himself nearly as much by creating little talking animal characters and writing short stories about their adventures together in the "Wonderful Wooded World".
Brian graduated later in life from The University of Texas, became the father of three sons, and settled in the Ozark Mountains.
