Brian Reid better known as "B-Nasty", is an American record producer, songwriter, and musician. At an early age, Brian began playing the piano and saxophone. Growing up with nine talented brothers and sisters and a mother who also played the piano, his unique sound and talent came naturally. He is the nephew of Susan Hedgepeth also known as Sioux Lane, but better known from the duo K.P. & Envyi, who released the hit single "Swing My Way" in 1998; and cousin of the late Reverend Ike, who had a guest appearance on Hank Williams Jr's single Mind Your Own Business.

Brian has had several placements a musician, but his first major placement was in 2006 on Ne-yo's first album In My Own Words. Brian produced the second song on the album titled "Let Me Get This Right". The album sold over 2 million copies, and this was the start to the B-Nasty buzz. During that same year, Brian produced three songs with Reputable Records and Drama Family Entertainment on the Rep Yo Set album and DVD. The songs were "Palmer Blocc Bangers", "Baby P Stones" and "Da Camp". This was a joint effort to unify brotherhood in the city of Los Angeles.

In an interview with Billboard Magazine in 2006, Ne-yo labeled Brian as one of the most talented and up and coming producers to look out for, as his music screams soul and authenticity at you, yet he has always maintained his humility and simple lifestyle. Brian is involved with several new projects as his manager Kevin Merritt of Merritt Music Group and Denaul Publishing work out the fine-tuning of their future.

Brian's first single was Tiffany Evans' Promise Ring featuring Ciara which was released on Columbia Records and written by The Clutch. Originally produced by Brian, Mr. Collipark later collaborated on the track. Brian is a keyboard specialist. He has been personally requested to feature his skills as a musician with artists such as Amerie, Bilal, Nottz, Kevin Rudolf, Birdman, Ne-yo, Scarface, G-unit, Rick Ross, Freeway, Nicole Wray and more. You may find Brian's work unnamed or discredited as he quickly learned this as one of the downsides of this tough industry. Works like Maino's Take it like a man as an example where the producer is unknown. Due to Brian's contribution, most of these projects have gone forth to sell millions of records and have won major awards like Ne-yo's Because of You album which took home a grammy for Best Contemporary R & B Album where Brian performed on Crazy featuring Jay-Z. Brian's most recent project is the new Young Money Cash Money single Love Affair by Lil Twist Feat. Lil Wayne which he originally wrote, arranged and performed background vocals. Joshua Berkman of Cash Money Records co produced the track with Brian.

In 2011, Brian reconnected with longtime friend actor. singer and songwriter Anthony Harrell formerly of the group Brutha to produce the single and other tracks on his debut album titled Kathy. Later that year, Brian's Manager was introduced to Shane Pollack, who is the CEO and Founder of the music recording website MySongToYou.com. He was able to secure Brian the production of Welcome To My Song, which is the company's theme song performed by Anthony Harrell.

Brian's influences include Theron Feemster, fellow Virginia natives Nottz and Bink!.
