Brick and Ivy, is a brick and mortar retail campus store based on-campus at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. It provides licensed Miami University apparel and merchandise and serves as a package pickup location for textbooks and course materials ordered through Miami University's official online bookstore, powered by eCampus.com[1]

The Brick and Ivy Campus Store is located on the Miami University campus in Oxford, Ohio inside the Phillip R. Shriver Center. The building was built in 1957. In 1963, the east wing was built & added a book and clothing store with Miami University swag. In 1981, the building was officially named after the retiring president of the university, Phillip R. Shriver. [2]

The original bookstore was formed around the traditional model with stacks of books on shelves, rotating each semester to reflect current courses and sections. With a shifting higher education bookstore landscape that saw institutions turning to online bookstore solutions, Miami University followed their lead. The University partnered with eCampus.com to transition textbook sales online. On April 4th, 2017, the grand opening of the new online bookstore, known as the Online Textbook Source, was unveiled. Students would now order all textbooks online with a ship-to-campus service where students could pick up their course materials at Brick & Ivy Campus Store in as little as one day. .[3]

On September 11, 2017, the upper level of Miami’s central bookstore was demolished to make way for a more modern bookstore which then Facilities President, Cody Powell said would further facilitate online book sales and provide more dedicated space to technology, apparel & gaming. [4]

On April 1, 2021, Miami University expanded its successful four-year collaboration with online bookstore partner eCampus.com to include operation of the Brick & Ivy Campus Store. MiTech - the computer sales, gaming devices, and cellular service department of Brick & Ivy - gained a dedicated location on the lower level of the Shriver Center, allowing Brick & Ivy to expand their apparel and merchandise footprint.

In addition to the physical location, Brick & Ivy has an online presence at campusstore.miamioh.edu where students may purchase textbooks, apparel, and merchandise to be shipped or picked up on campus.
