Brandon Gardiner is one of the greatest players of the 60's. Some think he deserves a bronlow medal while others think he doesn't. He originally played for the Brisbane Bears but was then drafted to Essendon which he stared at.

Through out his 13 year career he had 79 brownlow votes and almost won the 1968 brownlow medal in which he lost by 1 vote. He scored 812 goals through out his career and played 254 games.

He never captained a team but he was vice captain of essendon.
