Brendon Braithwaite(born 19 December 1971) is a former Australian rules footballer who played in 3 separate states.
Braithwaite spent time in three states during his career, starting in Western Australia with the Perth Football Club (1989) . He was then recruited by SAFNL club Glenelg Football in (1992) where he played two seasons, Braithwaite also played in NTFL for the Warahtah's Football club for a further two seasons in 1992 -1994.
After Braithwaite left Adelaide at the end of the 1994 season he returned to Perth. Braithwaite resumed playing in 1996 for Rockingham Football club in the Peel Football League.
In 1997 Braithwaite joined new Westar Rules club Peel Thunder where he was recruited as the Clubs first pick by Club Manager (Haydn Bunton JNR), Braithwaite was selected as small forward/onballer, unfortunately in his first year at the club Braithwaite suffered a knee injury that led to a knee reconstruction and ultimately led to his retirement 1998.
Braithwaite returned to football in 2000 after 3 seasons on the sidelines and returning to Rockingham Football club in the Peel Football League, 2000 reignited his career where he was runner up fairest and Best in the association and also become the Clubs leading Goal Kicker.
Braithwaite was recruited to South Mandurah Football Club in 2005 and was Runner up Fairest and best and leading Goal kicker in his first year at the club in 2006 Braithwaite become Club captain at South Mandurah that would win a Grand Final that season.
Braithwaite continued to be involved with Football and began his Coaching career in 2010 Rockingham football Club (Peel Football League) 2 seasons with club.
In 2012 Braithwaite was appointed Senior Coach at South Mandurah.
Braithwaite was a key small forward/utility, a player with a destructive kicking ability for a player of his size.
