Brad James
Born August 20th, 1963
Brad James is the son of Television Pioneer and Philanthropist, Dennis James.
Early Life
Brad was born in Burbank CA and grew up in Encino Ca. He attended the prestigious Buckely School and then Harvard (later named Harvard Westlake).
Brad then went on to LMU where he studied Film and Television Production. He graduated in 1984.
Career
After graduating from college, Brad worked for Dick Clark Productions as a Production Assistant, and for his Father's Company, Dennis James Productions, where he oversaw all of the production of the Television Commercials they produced. Upwards of 100 a year!
(As a youngster, Brad did some modeling and appeared in Catalogues, such as Sears.)
Besides working in Television and Film Production, Brad appeared in front of the Camera on Various Television Shows and Productions. He was the "Alien Invader" in the Monster Truck Series.... Monster Wars...... He also appears with Hilary Swank, Corbin Bernsen and Mark Paul Gosselaar in the 1996 Film "Kounterfit".
From approximately 1980 - 1998, Brad served as a Co-Host of the United Cerebral Palsy Telethon along with His father (who had been the Host since 1951). Brad interviewed clients with CP and would Interview the Celebrity Panelists who appeared on the Telethon.
When Dennis passed away in June of 1997, Brad served as Host of the 1998 Telethon along with Florence Henderson.
