He work as Program Director in the Nepali United Jyoti Chuech(NUJC). Even though, I was born in Bhutan and my family had lived in Bhutan for generations, we were never accepted by the Bhutanese government as Bhutanese. Instead, they treated us as the outsiders and made us feel unwelcome. Consequently, my Family and I fled Bhutan and went to live in refugee camps in Nepal, in 1992. We lived there for sixteen years, living every day in our refugee camp.

In Nepal, my family and I (there are ten of us) led a simple life. During the day, I went to school and worked after school. Every one in my family had to learn to weave and produce various objects for sale. Even though, our ancestors had come from Nepal, the Nepalese ruling

government would not recognize us as Nepalese. So in Nepal, we were considered refugees. The fact that we practiced Christianity did not help my family either. We were seen as outsiders.

Our refugee camp was run by UNHCR and they along with CARITAS NEPAL organized our learning programs. We all worked very hard to make our days more bearable. We were not allowed to go far from our camp. We did not have any work permit and therefore, were confined to the weaving that was organized by our camp directors.I learned a lot by being in the camps. I learned to think of those who have less than I do. I learned to help others and do community service. I also learned to work in our church as a youth leader and teach the children.

Why people still discriminate girls? The country where I was born, where I was grown up and where I dreamed to get citizen, still has discrimination between girls and boys. I do not have any idea, why people still believe in superstition and keep forget to move forward with generation. Our family also belonged to this group in the time of my birth. My Parents used to follow all tradition and culture which are made by society. That society still has discrimination between human beings. . My father was one Hindu man and he strongly believes Hindus God infect he was powerful “dhami”(I don’t know the appropriate word for this word.) and he had thirteen disciple. My father also belonged to same society so he also believed, sons are important than daughters. In certain period people love that mother who gives birth to son. In the other hand if any mother gives birth to daughters than society treated very badly. My mother faces all this kinds of circumstance in her life. Every people became so happy when in my birth time.

I was born in Bhutan in 1991, and I spent the first 18 years of my life in refugee camp in Nepal. I was born in a large family in the period of that society which had concept of different values of boy baby and girl baby. I am the eight child of my family after seven daughters. I have six elder sisters and one young brother along with my father and mother. Due to lack of knowledge about birth control and due to careless my parents had to lose one daughter in the year of 1982. In my birth time our society treated boys and girls differently. In these days people use to say everything was changed but not really. In my country people still has same kinds of attitudes between girls and boys. According to my opinion people are not going to change their view about it. My parent needed one son because in the society, sons were considered more desirable. This is because they believed that after father died, a son should be responsible for all things in family. Once my father told me “daughter are just like goat, they need to be out of family after their marriage but son is the one who is second father in every family.” I agreed with my father but in the other hand when we came to the United State I saw there are nothing difference between girls and boys. For example, I was very surprised when I saw a lady pilot first time in first day in America. In the day we arrived in Newark we had to wait six hours for flight came Rochester. So within six hours in point of entry in Newark I saw lady were work in every field, which make me more surprised. In that time I compared American girls and our country girls then I felt like If girls can do what they want in this country, then why not in our country, too. In our country people believe in society and try to fulfill every culture and tradition which is made by society. My parent also needed one son in family because in that time if any family didn't have son than its symbolized poorness. After gave birth to seven daughter I was born and my birth plays significant role in our family. I am the one who brings happiness in my father life, relatives and in society. After my birth society was started to visit our house also started to talk with my mother. Otherwise we were count as low level family. That’s means people hatred us because our family didn’t had son. Although my mother had very hard time before I was born. People never talked with her and if any one saw her they used to split her and said bad words. In every single moment she had lots of circumstances in her life because when she was pregnant she had girl continuously seven times. People used to say too many bad things because she is unable to give birth son. As many time relatives and other society people asked and forced him to marry another girl to have son in family but he never married another girl. Actually in that time if any women are unable to give birth to son than husband need to marry another girl. However people think that having son in family is necessary. So, it’s not illegal to have wife more than two in our culture. This not only story of my family but it tells about many families. My father can marry another wife but he didn’t marry another girl. This might sound unimaginable for the people who have never heard about this but its all reality in many woman lives and my mother is one of them. Eventually after giving birth to seven daughters, she gave birth to me to satisfy society and family. Today also my mother use to tell me the real story about that time and some time she says “First time I felt like I am breathing when I gave birth to you.” One day I asked my mother why? She said after she gave birth to me, everything was changed. In that time seven daughters is equal to one son for everybody. She also told me “I still remember how people used to treat on me before your birth.” She asked me do you know how important you are for this family. That time I asked why only me and not my sisters? She told m.”…..because boys always remain as son but girls need to be changed in every moment of her life as like chori(daughter), buwari, (daughter in law), Kaki, Mami, Amma (mother) etc.” Also she told me “a son adds family but we have to out from family when the times come.” It’s really hard to be Nepali women because every time naturally woman needs to be smaller than the man. In my country people use to speak women has 33% right. But when girls try to use their 33% right they are not able to do that because in every step they have to struggle a lot to get freedom. In these days girls try to do something like man do but still society didn’t like that. When girls started to work as like man than people started to talk so many bad things about her. I saw many similar stories when I was in Nepal. Among them I want to shear one real story to make story clear as an example. One morning I was came out of home for morning walk. I saw a girl hanging on tree with small roof. My friend and I called people to show that. After two hours police came there and investigate why she suicide. Finally one office found a letter in her pocket. She wrote that letter for every people to tell the reason what makes her suicide. We found the reason was her unsuccessful because of community discrimination between girls and boys. In her life she tried to do lots of thing as like man do to move forward in life but she never got success. Once she was tried to learn how to ride a motor cycle but when she came in ground to learn people started too said to many things to her and she didn’t got chance to learn. In that area there were no single girls who can ride bike. She tried lots of thing to do in life but every time she got flustered because she was girl and girls never similar to boys. Similarly she tried to study more and she tried to admitted but non collage give admission to her. In her village girls never went collage after finished en grade. She fights with many people to get job but no one companies allow her to work. At the end her family decided to marry her with unknown boy so she quit and killed herself. Still now also these things are happening in our country. Now days in some city area we do not see these things but in urban area we can found the different story day by day. In these days something gets changed but I think it takes too many years to get equal right. This is because if some girl wants to work with some company, than girls need to be relatives with boss, otherwise girls needs to satisfy boss. Like doing sexual activities with high level people. There is no any other option behind that if girls need to work in good company. This proved how people still treated boys and girls differently in our community. Just because of my birth the image of my family was changed completely. There are no any changes in society about this all matter how ever my family is no longer to follow same culture and tradition. In the year of 1992 we had very big health problem in family with my three sisters, mother and my self. So, my parents decided to changed their believe from Hindu to Christianity being my father had thirteen disciple. However he stopped to believe in Hindus god because of the situation. My father mother was very afraid because they have only the one son and he also get illness. So my father tried to do too many chinta but result was nothing. After having five people sick with serious case my father started to look forward to get peace in family. After all many people gave advice to my father to become Christian but he himself was one “dhami” and can’t decide to become christen. In that time and still in some parts of country the religion of Christian declare as third country religion and they many people didn’t like Christianity. Also people didn’t let Christian people go inside of house. In addition people never drink water if Christian touches it. People who were Christian were count as low cast family in our country. However my father changed his mind for little hope to get freedom for peace in family. It was all happened in Kankai mai in 1991-1992. Finally we became Christian and my father hope comes in reality. All of us along with me get relief from different kinds of illness and continues we started to follow Jesus.

How Manure is Important In Daily life?

Background

It is fact that, Manure are useful for garden. It also, use to produce electricity this is unbelievable, if somebody hear this thing first time. but it is fact 'cause this is my life experience.I was only 10 years old and i read in Grade four. In my school one teacher teach us about Hydro-electricity and i catch the the way(Hydroelectricity) to produce electricity. I am impressed with that process than one day i decide to do something like that but i can't success. However, one day i collect cow dong to make my house beautiful by using cow dong because my house is made of mud.In that time i put water(H2O) and cow dong in one container and i put my hand inside that container. In that time my hand get start to boiling in that container than i try to find whats going on hear and i get pain in my hand. Eventually i found that, the mixture of cow dong and water gives something special things. Near of my container i found one dry cell-battery and i put that cell-battery too to make my stuff colorful but it's boil my hand painfully. From this point of view i compare Hydro-Electricity Process and my non-sense stuff together than i try to do something special but i never success. However people think me i am going to become made but after all i made people made. How can i make people mad i will tell you in my process.

Problem:How Manure Produce Electricity?

Hypothesis: If Manure is good for plant, than it also do something different with water.

Materials:

           1.Cow-dong
           2.Filter-Water
3.Death Dry Cell-Battery(as many as possible)
           4.Wire
           5.Big container
           6.Small Container
           7.0v+ Bulb
           8.some wood
           9.Niel
           10.Switch Board

Process:

1.Collect all material which are written above.
2.Put (cow-dong +filter water) in big container. Than mixed and make solid of all of them.
3.Make one small wood box. make sure that battery can be inside wood box.
4.Take battery(more than 5) and put inside that wood box.
           5. connect all battery with phase and neutral.Make sure that, the connection is connect in correct way by with (-) & (+)
6.Take bulb and switch board and connect with that two wire which comes out from wood box.

Background

Hydra are very unique than other animals and they are not very complicated.Hydra live in an aquatic environment most Hydra are found In fresh water lakes.(http://www3.northern.edu/natsource/INVERT1/Hydra1.htm) They aren't very strongly held together. They reproduce If we cut them In pieces.Hydra also reproduce themselves by making smaller Hydra.(http://www.tutorvista.com/search/reproduction-in-hydra) When budding They develop a small Hydra out of their side by using mitosis. However they can reproduce by meiosis. They are neither male nor female, some hydra can lay eggs and rest can carry sperm."Hydra - Science for Kids!"

Hydras are a tube of cells, two cells are deep. Special cells know to go to the inside or outside laver. There are four classes In the phylumCnidaria. Thy are Anthozoa which contain sea anemones, Cubozoa which contain Portuguese, Hydrozoa which contain Jelly Fish, and Scyphozoa which contain Box Jellies.Hydra belong to the class Hydrozoa.
