Outline of proposed changes
editClick on the edit button to draft your outline.
Now that you have compiled a bibliography, it's time to plan out how you'll improve your assigned article.
In this section, write up a concise outline of how the sources you've identified will add relevant information to your chosen article. Be sure to discuss what content gap your additions tackle and how these additions will improve the article's quality. Consider other changes you'll make to the article, including possible deletions of irrelevant, outdated, or incorrect information, restructuring of the article to improve its readability or any other change you plan on making. This is your chance to really think about how your proposed additions will improve your chosen article and to vet your sources even further. Note: This is not a draft. This is an outline/plan where you can think about how the sources you've identified will fill in a content gap. |
In my outline I will cover my plan to add information about the species of birds that live on Christie Islet Migratory Bird Sanctuary. Using the two websites in my bibliography, I will expand on the existing articles mention of "seabirds", as there is no information on what they mean in specific by "seabirds". The general introduction of the bird sanctuary is already done, so I will just be adding a new section titled "list of seabirds" and provide a small summary paragraph of why these birds inhabit Christie Islet. - Sonal

For my topic on the importance of bird sanctuaries, I will focus on addressing information about the laws that protect bird sanctuaries and why these places are are important.
1. Regulatory Framework for Christie Islet Migratory Bird Sanctuary
The "Migratory Bird Sanctuary Regulations" will provide essential legal context to the article, explaining the legal framework governing the sanctuary's protection. The regulations define key terms like "migratory bird sanctuary," "permit," and "hunt," helping readers understand the legal provisions related to the sanctuary.
2. Importance of Conservation and Management
The regulations emphasize the importance of conservation and management of migratory bird sanctuaries, aligning with the article's theme of the sanctuary's significance. This information will reinforce the article's message that the sanctuary is not just a location but a vital protected area with specific rules and regulations.
3. Role of Permits in Protecting the Sanctuary
The regulations discuss permits, which play a crucial role in safeguarding migratory birds and their habitat within the sanctuary. This addition will shed light on the regulatory aspects of the sanctuary's management and the role of permits in balancing human activities and bird conservation.
In my section, I will cover the geography of the Christie Islet Migratory Bird Sanctuary. This will include an overview of the physical location of the sanctuary and its physical characteristics. I will briefly cover the average temperature and climatic conditions where the sanctuary is located. The section will describe the environmental factors affecting the region including the contamination of the surrounding waters from the Britannia mine and the resulting efforts to restore the region's environment.
