BonzaiRob (Robin Hayes, b. 1988) is a musician, artist, coder, hacker, writer, animator and radio presenter. As if the world didn't have enough of those. He enjoys the rare occasions when he talks in the third person. He is also not sure if this is what he's supposed to be doing with a user page.

Personal Websites

  • Propellor and Ratchet Games - A startup games developer. First game coming soon. On here, BonzaiRob goes by Ratchet, and made the site's layouts and accounts system.
  • Bitcrush.org - BR's personal site, made completely from scratch, including his blog and portfolio.

Commissioned Websites

  • Source Radio - Coventry University Students' union's radio station's website. Due for an overhaul but BR wrote the systems used for it.
  • BonzaiRob has done various work for his father, on Midland Reefs Ltd. (online shop and distribution company), Reef Ramblings (blog); there are other sites related to this coming soon.
  • Bean Squad Sims - A Sims 2 hacking/modding site, BR coded the layout's infrastructure, but not the visual style.

Older Projects

  • Bitcrush - a radio program that started on Hertfordshire University's student radio station Crush, later moving to Coventry's Source. Plays geeky music and talks about geeky things. May be returning to air in September/October.
  • Ecirif - his webcomic, a fantasy based manga affair. Lasted six episodes, and he decided his drawing wasn't good enough. May be starting again soon, depending on his confidence.
  • The Pokémon Factory: It Starts With an Idea - he got his first job here spriting fake Pokémon, and has since become RPG admin and webmonkey. He now finds he doesn't have the time to visit very often, but helps when he can.
  • Pokémon Treasures - Bonzai has composed and remixed music for this online Pokémon game, and helped with coding the game itself in Java, but unfortunately lack of interest and activity led it to be cancelled. He hopes to bring it back, perhaps later on in life.
