I am a new editor to Wikipedia, having shamelessly used it for years without contributing anything myself. I am trying to rectify that, albeit slowly.
My interests range widely, having taught high school in Europe, including classes on philosophy, film, 20th-century history, literature, Old Testament, and math.

Classic film, especially: Sunrise: A Song of Two Humans, Charlie Chaplin's Mutual Comedies, La Grande Illusion, Citizen Kane (really, anything by Orson Welles), Rear Window, Laura, Casablanca, Duck Soup, and far more exceptional films.
Classic literature, specifically: Hamlet, anything by Raymond Chandler, Absalom, Absalom!, The Great Gatsby, The Mayor of Casterbridge, Men and Women (poetry collection), Robert Frost, and many more incredible books.
