I am a Qualifications Manager for the Scottish Qualifications Authority, which is responsible for qualifications within Scotland. My particular areas of responsibility are Computing/IT, e-learning and e-assessment.
My professional interests include teaching and learning, e-learning, pedagogy (especially as it relates to online learning) and assessment (especially online assessment). My personal interests include reading (non-fiction), writing (books, articles and blogs), playing and watching soccer (I support Celtic) and keeping fit.
I have been married to Margaret for since 1980 and we have three children: John, Meg and Maria.
