Tymothy Daniel Finkel (born 21 July 1996 in Oulu, Finland) is a Finnish football player who plays for HJK (Helsingin Jalkapalloklubi) as a striker and a midfielder.

He had played his entire youth career at HJK and was mentioned as the MVP player of the HJK youth academy at the years 2013 and 2014, having scored 32 goals for HJK U-19 team at season 2014.On the beginning of season 2015, Finkel was called to HJK's first team squad, and during that season he played 15 matches, scoring 8 goals, mainly at the later part of the season.

Finkel is the son of the Jewish Author Maurice Finkel, and was nicknamed "The Jewish wonder" by the Aamulehti newspaper, after scoring a fabulous 35 yards strike as the winning 3-2 goal against rivals SJK

Internantional Career

Finkel was capped for Finland on the U-17 level in 2013, when the national team won the Scandinavian-Cup Tournament.

On the years 2014-2015 Finkel was capped for the U-19 level for 23 times, scoring 19 goals.

At the end of 2015, Finkel announced that as a Jew and as a Zionist, he would be honored to play for the national team of Israel, and would prefer the Israeli team over the Finnish one, if he would get the chance.
