Greetings,here is my initial user page.
I wanted a list of color names mostly because I would read or hear about names like "burnt sienna" and "periwinkle" and just wanted a simple list. Wikipedia came through for me with a color names entry. I could also click on each name if I wanted to know more behind each name.
Then since I have Adobe Photoshop,I thought it would be nice to make a swatch set based on this list. As I worked on it I noticed many of the HSV,and a few RGB values did not match the selected hex values as seen in the color picker.
So I started up an account and as I build my swatch set,I go through each of the colors, A-Z and make sure the values match up,and make minor edits on the list. It's fun,something I want to do and do my best at as well. That's my focus at this moment and it's good to help out.
