Block1945 is a non de plume for a genealogy researcher who lives in the midwest of America. After about 60 years of work in the genealogy of his family Block1945 intends to disperse his knowledge to his family and the wider world.
Block1945 also writes articles for www.ezinearticles.com and has written informational columns for several magazines and newspapers. He is also a former yearbook photographer, Naval officer, and degreed Engineer, University of Michigan graduate.
Current work involves documenting family members on www.geni.com a very nice addition to the onlineGenealogy programs. Geni is owned by MyHeritage and files are shared between these two platforms.
One of several areas of concentration is a Project on Geni for the Jews of Rhodes.
