Bipanch born as the eldest daughter inherits her father Late Guru Debaprasad Das’s unique dance style which is minimalistic and braced with unpretentious,approach.

Bipanchi’s early education in Odissi dance taught her to be unique in approach to life and art. She grew up as a dancer along with eminent dancers of today such as Guru Ramli Ibrahim, Guru Durga charan Ranbir, Guru Sangeeta Dash and Guru Sujata Mishra. Bipanchi learnt to possess a sense of enquiry which introduced her to the research world. She Undertook study of her father’s dance style with a junior fellowship from the Govt. of India.

Bipanchi has a never ending dedication for her dance and has a mesmerizing smile and captivating expressions, her abhinaya, the most important part of Guru Debaprasad Das dance style.

Bipanchi has dedicated her whole life to enhance her skills and carry on her father’s legacy of a unique dancing style overcoming all difficulties and obstacles that came her way. She struggled hard through all the difficulties with her dedication and her immense love for art. Over the time she has gained more than 36 years of experience having started her journey at a mere age of 5 and has kept her father’s legacy still alive. She still continues to work hard to carry forward and enhance her dancing style. Her continuous efforts are presently blessed and guided by her present guru Bharat Charan Giri.

Bipanchi credits her a degree of Alankarpurna in Odissi from Akhila Bharatiya gandharba Mahabidyalaya, Mumbai. She excels in Abhinaya and Mahari dance style in which her father’s work echoes in all pristine purity. She has awarded “Padmavati Award 2016” by Jayadev Samaroha. She is an ‘A’ grade artist at Dooradarshan. She heads Guru Debaprasad Das Foundation Trust as a founder.

She has performed in several dance festival, the most prominent of them being Jaadev Samaroha, Odissi International Dance Festival, Allaripu Mokshya Dance festival at Malaysia.
