Personal background

As a linguist I am dedicated to language. For me, language is not only an abstract system. For me, it is much more a social phenomenon. That is why I would like to contribute to Wikipedia: The power of language should not be underestimated and improving topics on linguistics, but also the linguistic quality of articles with other topics is one of my major aims. Knowledge is expressed in a linguistic form, so putting things linguistically quite clear should also facilitate the access to knowledge.
