ST.BONIFACE COLLEGE
editSt.Boniface College is a Roman Catholic School in Namibia situated in the kavango Region 30 kilometer east of Rundu.It was proposed and founded by Archbishop Bonifatius Hausiku together with an assembly of around 200 teachers,community members and missionaries in 1994.In 1995 the Dutch Brothers of CMM started a secondary BOARDING school with boys and Girls at Sambyu, 30km east of Rundu in the Kavango region in the premises of the Roman Catholic Mission. The school was named St Boniface College, after Archbishop Bonifatius Hausiku and this was the begining of one of the best performing schools in Namibia. The official opening of the school was on the 14th of March 1995 with Brother Piet Dillisen, CMM as the first principal of St Boniface College, started off with valuable support of some donor organizations namely: The European Union, Friends of St Boniface Hilversan,Royal Netherlands, The Belgian Embassy in Namibia, Kavango Construction and The First National Bank of Namibia (FNB).
St.Boniface College is known all over Namibia as one of the top best performing schools in Namibia. It provides teaching from grade 8 to 12 offering JSC, IGCSE and HIGCSE, it follows the model of other premier schools in the country.It is well known for its best national results of grade 10s and grade 12s.
