I was born on October 23, 1984. Currently I am a senior in the Civil Engineering program at the University of Vermont, expected to graduate in December 2007.
I have a fascination with history of all kinds, most notably:

Recently, late medieval European military history, particularly in Northeastern Europe.
Anything featuring the interplay of politics and the military will usually get my undivided attention.
I am also the president of the Nicholas Hartwig fan club, based on a sudden whim I had while reading a book that mentioned him in passing, spawning a determination to write a major research paper on him. This is still a work in progress, currently stalled on the inability to find copies of Novoye Vremya from the 1890s in English. For some reason, incomprehensible to this author, this has not been a major focus of Russian to English translation efforts.
Currently the article on Hartwig is my only major Wikipedia contribution.
