I would ask that users DO NOT email me, unless the information in the email is confidential AND the confidential information is necessary. I would disable my email, but then users who did want to send necessary confidential email would not do so. If you do email me, and there is no neccesary confidential information, then I ask that you give me permission to post it on my talk page, otherwise I will ignore your email. This is because I believe that wikipedia should be transparent, and do not believe that this is accomplished by sending private messages between users.
I missed my 1000th edit because marking pages for speedy delete adds several edits :(
