Benjamin Philip Dorsi-Todaro (born April 27, 1984) is the founder and CEO of Big Ben's Web Hosting, a company that specializes in online services such as Web Hosting, blogs and programming. He spent two years selling computer hardware he sold on his self hosted website. He now hosts websites for several clients.
Early life edit
Ben P. Dorsi-Todaro was born on April 27, 1984 in Sharon, CT, to Jill Dorsi and Philip Todaro. He has two younger brothers Joshua Dorsi and Mathew Dorsi.
Ever since Ben was introduced to technology as a child he has been fascinated with the evolution and different aspects of computing. He frequently writes about various tech-based and geek-related topics on his Tech Me Out website.

On September 19, 2006 Ben P. Dorsi-Todaro started selling computers and supplies under the DBA of Big Ben's Computers & Supplies, from a half way house located in Saugerties, New York. Soon after his first business venture, he started his hobby of blogging, which he started using the blogger platform.
In 2007 Ben got five MOS (Microsoft Office Specialist) certifications.

In 2008 Ben concluded that hosting websites was effective for his small business with limited physical space. This resulted in his rebranding to Big Ben's Web Hosting at his present location in Kingston, New York
In 2010 after numerous blog posts where removed for TOS violations, Ben decided it was time to move the growing blog from blogger to word press and host it himself, eliminating any and all censorship. Because of the censorship Ben faced he became politically active and a strong advocate of the US Constitution.
As Ben felt more and more of his freedoms where being jeopardized online, he became more politically active. This also resulted in Ben slowly shifting his computer usage to primarily Linux and Open Source software. It was at this point Ben decided to learn as much as he could about Linux, and dived into creating his own Linux based OS known as Bennix.
