About Ben Zvi Unusual Artwork
About my art: started with oil painting when he was 13 years old. painted surrealistic painting in oil and acrylic. You can view them in the "Painting" menu. Recently in the year 2004, started to create forms that present an image from a certain viewpoint; some call it "Unusual Art" or "unusual visual art" but "if I have to categorize my recent art I would like to call my art "Viewpoint Art""you can view them in WomenView, Illusion and Marlene. The Mix Media are Pristine, Face and my Wood Carving projects which some of them are also "Viewpoint art", The Cowboy, Lori and the Lion, Succumb Survive and War and Peace compare to the painting i made in 1973 named War and Peace.
"I like to experiment with unusual art media as new projects emerge. I like to create and play with the forms and painting so to escape from the flat surface of the canvas."
My simple philosophy : 1) Creation is making something out of nothing - like an idea. 2) Art is making an idea real for others to sense it in a beautiful way. 3) Beauty is that which pleases the senses or spirit. 4) The highest commodity of an artist is the amount of attention his work gets.
In my viewpoint every artist is unique.
