Vonnté Leon Williams (born 4 November 2004) is an English professional footballer who plays as a left back for Premier League club Brentford. He is a product of the Crystal Palace academy and began his professional career with the club. Williams transferred to Brentford in 2024.
Club career
editEarly years
editA left back, Williams began his career in the Chelsea Academy at the age of six,[2] before moving to the Crystal Palace academy at the age of eight.[3] He progressed to sign a two-year scholarship with the club,[4] which was followed by a one-year professional contract in July 2023.[3] Williams was released at the end of an injury-hit 2023–24 season.[5][6]
Brentford
editOn 26 August 2024, Williams signed a one-year contract with the B team at Premier League club Brentford, with the option of a further year, on a free transfer.[7] After recovering from injury, he began match play on 15 October 2024.[8]
