Beatmedic is from the Okanagan Valley in British Columbia, Canada. He works full time as a Systems Analyst for a Non-governmental organization, he is also a Wikipedia contributor and supporter. Beatmedic previously worked as a Paramedic for the provincial ambulance service. During this time in his life he learned how to DJ at events where he was working as first aid. As such, he has been an EDM DJ since 2006; his experience as a medic led to the creation of the aforementioned alias which is also used for performances.
