2. There are no dependencies between infobox parameters – it is a display mechanism only.
3. Omit any infobox parameter with no variable or if it is "unknown". Use nowrap function if the date is a span. Begin all variables in upper case.
4. In External Links, some sites have template functions like {{cricinfo|id=28624}}.
5. Use "batsman" if a historic player and "batter" if a recent player. Threshold could perhaps be Y2K (useful for something at last!).
6. Don't use endash or other special characters in DEFAULTSORT. If a title date includes 1935–36, convert it to 1935-36 in the sort command.
