The Beadling Soccer Club, also known as Beadling S.C., is a soccer club located in Western Pennsylvania near Pittsburgh. It is one of the the oldest soccer clubs in the United States, being founded in 1898.[1][2] It has won many state cups and national tournaments. The club is nationally recognized and the teams are often nationally ranked.[3] Former Pittsburgh Steeler Matt Bahr has also played with the club.[4] The club has won several Pennsylvania West State Championships.[5] Many former players of Beadling also have moved onto college level soccer for Penn State University.[6] It is currently owned by Denny Kohlmeyer.
