The Cicero Group[1] is a market research and strategy consulting firm headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Cicero Group was formed in 2001 with the goal of creating a world-class research and strategy consulting firm. The Cicero Group has 30 market strategists, statisticians, and analysts as well as 100 survey call center agents. Clients of The Cicero Group include AT&T, Allied Waste, Lexington Law, DeVry University, Wells Fargo, and many others.


In January 2010, The Cicero Group acquired Utah polling and data collection company Dan Jones & Associates.[2] Dan Jones & Associates has been a fixture in Utah for the last 30 years. Clients of Dan Jones & Associates include Zions Bank, Utah Jazz, Rocky Mountain Power, Intermountain Healthcare, and others.


The Cicero Group is parent company to Education Direction. Education Direction is headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah and was founded by a Harvard EdD and a Harvard MBA. Education Direction’s goal is to improve student outcomes in U.S. K-12 public education. This is done by strategic planning consulting, targeted professional development, and a variety of school turnaround strategies. Education Direction clients include Nike School Innovation Fund, Portland Public Schools, Harvard Graduate School of Education, California Charter School Association, and many others.
