ClipBlast! is a video search engine that continuously crawls and parses the entire Video Web. ClipBlast technology identifies discreet video hosted throughout the web then captures and parses video meta data found in player configuration files, the video itself and other documents. ClipBlast technology continuously updates the world's largest video index and makes it searchable in real-time. ClipBlast! was founded in 2004 by Gary Baker, an Internet entrepreneur and former IBM Interactive Media executive.
As the "Video Web" grows, web-wide video search becomes critical for Viewers who are seeking video to watch, Video content providers who are seeking to get more views and viewers to their content, and advertisers seeking to gain exposure.
In April 2007, ClipBlast! 2.0 added new features and a new interface to the ClipBlast! web site by including the "Video Navigator" for browsing video content providers and video categories. Personalization allows viewers to save preferences to video that meets unique interests. ClipBlast shares it's technology with individuals, content providers and portals seeking to gain the benefit of the Video Web.
