Louise Brill


Louise Brill (born Louise Elizabeth Brill on 19th February 1973) is an English actress, model, radio presenter and newspaper columnist.


Early Life and family

Born in Reading, Berkshire England, Brill is the daughter of skilled carpenter Christopher Brill and Susanne Turner who is a cake decorator. Brill is sister to Simon, and niece to ex professional boxer Edward Turner. She attended George Palmer primary school and Southlands secondary girls school. Brill enjoyed school, and played many of the main parts in her schools productions, such as 'Taming of the Shrew', and 'Smike' Brill enjoyed the musical side of productions and had an interest in mimiking accents, and reciting commercials and songs from musicals such as 'The sound of music' 'Mary Poppins' and 'Oliver'- this is what she later said inspired her to become a actor. On joining Yvonne Paul Management in the late 80's Brill suggested to her agent she change her name to something short like 'Jordan' her agent is reported to have said that 'that was silly' and 'own name was perfectly good enough - in fact it was brilliant'



Early work

After taking photographs of Louise at Burghfield Sailing Club (aged 14) a professional photographer suggested Louise should go into modelling, and after much persuasion, Louise did a photoshoot, these photos were sent to Yvonne Paul Management and she began work immediatly.

During a holiday to Butlins in Bognor Regis at the age of 16 Louise was offered a position as a general Redcoat which she took. She is quoted to saying her only regret in life - was not to keeping her redcoat when she left 'I should have just let them keep the £5.00 deposit'
