I was born in ex-Soviet Union and I have resided there long enough to fluently speak and read Russian. I do have some limitations writing Russian - I tend to make grammatical and stylistic mistakes. I am currently working on improving my Russian writing and I plan to write and/or edit articles in the Russian Wikipedia in the future.

I have lived in Israel for several years and so I can fluently read and proficiently speak modern Hebrew dialects. Additionally, I have extensively studied classical texts of Judaism and the grammar of various classical dialects of Hebrew, including the Biblical and the Mishnaic ones. In a sense, it is easier for me to write and edit texts, using these classical dialects, than using the modern spoken Hebrew dialect. I intend to occasionally write and/or edit articles in the Hebrew Wikipedia.

For the last several years now I am residing on the East Coast of the United States. Here I frequently get to do some writing and editing work in English. Thus, I have a decent level of proficiency reading, speaking and writing English. I plan to do most of my writing and/or editing work in the English section of the Wikipedia.

Due to my durable hobby, studying Semitic languages and texts, and due to my extensive studies of classical Jewish religious texts, I have certain basic knowledge of some Arabic, Syriac and Aramaic dialects.

My areas of specialization and/or of interest, on which I plan to embrace in my Wikipedia work, include, but are not limited to: Judaism; Biblical studies and Biblical criticism; Apocrypha; Mishnaic and Talmudic literature; Semitic languages and texts; Quran and Quranic studies; Ancient history of the Levant; Medieval Jewish history; History of Zionism; History of Israel; Political parties and Social groups in Israel; Israeli Judicial System; Political and Social groups in the Jewish Diaspora; Political parties and Social groups in the Islamic World.

I honestly intend to write and/or edit Wikipedia articles, even on the most controversial topics, making them as factual, accurate and unbiased, as one possibly can.

My formal education and training is in Mathematics, in which I have earned my Ph.D.
