Фрайкор (добровольчий підрозділ)
The Ukrainian Freikorp or Volunteer unit “Freikorps” (Ukrainian: Добровольчий підрозділ «Фрайкор») was founded as a military-patriotic organization by Georgy Tarasenko, a former member of the National Corps of Andriy Biletsky. The organization “Freikorps”, which describes itself as defending traditional values, sent its first seven soldiers on July 13, 2017, to the front line and has already gone through seven rotations, including fights in Donetsk, Mariupol and Kharkiv directions. The unit is a closed structure, where the soldiers are members of the public organization. Its first commander Tarasenko died in March 2022 and was awarded the title Hero of Ukraine.
