The High King of Montival (2010) is an alternate history, post-apocalyptic novel by author S. M. Stirling. It is the seventh book in the Emberverse series. Rudi Mackenzie has found and drawn the Sword of the Lady, giving him more than human abilities. He and his companions return across the breadth of a changed America, to rescue their homelands from the Church Universal and Triumphant (CUT) and their masters. Artos/Rudi is proclaimed High King.
