Human Digest was a 100 page digest size magazine that was published during the 1970s and late 1980s.[1] The content mainly dealt with human sexuality. The original price was $1, but increased to $1.25 in 1978. By 1987, it was $2.50 ($2.95 in Canada).
Early editions display a small circled F ( Ⓕ ), but later editions display a circled K ( Ⓚ ), then later a "K".
A related publication, "Human Digest Letters", collecting reader letters was also published.
The trademark expired on May 25, 1998.[2]
Subtitle
editThe magazine was originally subtitled "The International Forum of Sexual Behavior". Then it changed to "[Human Digest] of Sexual Behavior" in the second volume and then "The Sexual Behavior Journal", in No 8. By the late 80s, the subtitle had been removed altogether.[3]
