Now, since I vote quite a lot in RFA's and the like, I have decided to do a summary of criteria that I want to see.

  • Around 6 months+ experience
  • Around 2,000 edits+, however this can vary, especially if there is a high percentage of automated edits, if this is the case I would want to see around 5,000+ edits.
  • Good communication, this includes edits all around the wiki, as well as civility and well reasoned decisions.
  • Good use of edit summaries, at least 90%+.
  • Experience and accuracy in any areas the candidate wants to go into, eg deleted edits in CSD etc.
  • If a previous RFA failed, I would expect improvements and a 3-9 month delay between them
  • Not blocked for at least a year prior to the RFA.
  • But, the main overriding theme is, as long is the user is not going to misuse the tools intentionally and is civil to others, you will usually find me in the support category, just take a look here! :)
