Asis Bala, Completed Graduation as Bachelor of Pharmacy from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India in 2008. During graduation, qualified Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering (GATE) and got admitted for post graduation and completed my M.Pharm in Pharmacology from the same university in 2010. Started the doctoral research at Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education & Research (S.S.K.M. Hospital, Kolkata) in a Board of Research in Nuclear Science (BRNS-DAE) funded project mainly based on “Evaluation of anti-inflammatory activity of natural phytmolecules on synovial cellular infiltrate of patents with Rheumatoid arthritis”. Latter, join ed as Junior Research Fellow of Jadavpur University in a personal fellowship of University Grant Commission, Govt. of India in a research project on “Evaluation of phytomolecules on isolated inflammatory cells of patient with Rheumatoid Arthritis”. Finally completed my Ph.D. (Pharmacy) from Jadavpur University in 2014 with impact publications. Presently working as faculty in the division of Pharmacology, Guru Nanak Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology, Kolkata, India. During my academic and professional carrier I have published several impact paper in International publications as well as published a book chapter in “Recent Progress in Medicinal Plants- Ethnomedicine and Theraputic validation”, Edited by Dr. J.N. Govil, Studium Press USA in 2012. Presently I am supervising Masters and PhD thesis under West Bengal University of Technology as well as Jadavpur University. I served as Editorial Board Member of “Pharmacologia” published by Science Reuters 26 York Street London W1U 6PZ, UK
