Arthur Acheson is an architect and urban planner. He is a first class honours graduate of Queen's University Belfast and holds a Masters degree from McGill University Montreal where he was a Commonwealth Scholar in 1972 - 73. He is a consultant to The Boyd Partnership Chartered Architects LLP, Belfast, Northern Ireland. He was appointed Chair of the Ministerial Advisory Group for Architecture and the Built Environment for Northern Ireland in September 2010. He was the founder Chair of Belfast Civic Trust in 1982.
