ou stated: "She has explicitly stated that she does not want to be categorized as anything more specific than "Muslim" at this time". please provide evidence.otherwise i will revert the edit to specify twelver shia. she converted when overwhelmed in the holy twelver shrine city of qom. this conversion therefore has a uniquely shia element to it. she also works for press tv. this channel is run by the twelver shia government of iran. theere is no sunni connection with her conversion and palestine is not an excuse because even christians sympathise with palestine. so her connedction to palestine is purely humanitarian point of view not religious sunni islam.Artefactual (talk) 07:23, 31 October 2010 (UTC)

I would never say, by the way, whether I will take a Sunni or a Shia path. For me, there is one Islam and one Allah.
