Erich Elkan (1907-1943) was a Jewish lawyer from Berlin, Germany. He helped 180 Jewish children escape Nazi persecution by falsifying documents. Sixty of the children were from one orphanage.[1]
Elkan was murdered in Sobibor extermination camp on July 9, 1943. There is a Stolperstein in his memory in Berlin.
