Hello! I am a 50-something-year-old male and live in Fargo, North Dakota...but I grew up on the East Coast, mostly in Massachusetts. I'm a former a tennis instructor, gifted and talented teacher, financial advisor, and AmeriCorps VISTA. I have held securities, investment advisor, life and health insurance licenses in all 50 states, and have earned two professional designations to boot. I am married, have two children, and one dog.
I have a Bachelor's Degree with a major emphasis in English, and a double minor emphasis in biology and psychology and an MBA in general business. I am currently working on my Doctorate of Education, and I work as a freelance business consultant.
My interest in joining Wikipedia as an Editing User is to improve the quality of the syntax and spelling of the pages that I come across and would like to see the overall quality of Wikipedia's entries improve. I have six years of experience as a professional English tutor at the college level, and have served as an editor for a New England-based magazine for six years. I thoroughly love the idea of how Wikipedia works, and I strive to be a part of this community in the most positively constructive ways that I can.
